Connecticut BASS Federation Nation teams
up with the United States Marine Corps to bring a Merry Christmas to
under privileged kids.
The Connecticut BASS Federation Nation joined up with the United
States Marine Corps to collect toys for the “Toys for Tots” program.
Individual clubs donated toys from their membership and held club
collection events throughout the state. The final collection was
held on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at the Westfield Mall in Meriden
CT. The Connecticut BASS Federation Nation was able to fill up two
SKEETER Bass Boats and two pickup trucks full of toys! It took a
Marine Corp 7 ton truck to haul them all away. The Connecticut Bass
Federation Nation would like to thank everyone for their support in
this years toy drive.
