Proposed 2007 Schedule:

May 13 Lillinonah
June 10 Candlewood
July 8 CT River
Aug 12 Candlewood
Aug 4 Mr. BASS
Sept 29 &30 State Championship Two Day
Oct 13th Classic

Two Day - Went well except for the fog delay on the first day. Maybe sent boats out to early, saw a window and after the first six or seven boats took off the window closed. Had to let everyone go of the first boats would have had an advantage. Retainer checks will be returned at the November meeting.

Classic – We had the same problem with the fog, waited until we could see certain landmarks and then let the boats go. Again the fog closed in.

Applications - This year there was a lot of issues with application deadlines. Next year it will be different, No Excuses will be allowed.

Trailer – We are looking for some one to tow the trailer for next year.

BASS Club World Championship. Our teams have to be in by May 1st. Currently we have one team. If interested contact Frank or Paul.

Two Day Change – it was brought up about possibly changing the date / time of year for the Two Day to earlier in September or move the Start time to 8:00 to 4:00 to deal with the possibility of fog during this time of year.

There will be a Tournament Committee Meeting at Sylvia’s on 9 December.

Frank would like to express his “Thanks” to the Tournament Committee for all the hard work this year.

By-Law Proposals – Only received one proposal.

Received a Standing Rule change proposal from Paul Carter.

Standing Rule #8 - Federation Team Expenses. Any prize money won by the Connecticut State Team shall be distributed in the following way:

50% to the State Team Participants, in equal shares,
50% to the Connecticut BASS Federation Nation

Thought for change – This Divisional (Regional) Tournament is funded entirely by the Connecticut BASS Federation Nation. The participants are provided clothing, fuel expense, food allowance (when traveling)
And they are provided meals and boarding for a week while they are at the event. With the increase cost of everything, but mainly fuel, I would offer this change;

“All prize monies won by the Connecticut State Team shall be returned to the general fund (treasury)”

T-shirts Shirts are in. Place order through your FED Rep or contact Paul Carter (prcfunfish1@aol.com) or Jack Vinyard (ctbassfed@sbcglobal.net). View available items and prices on the website; http://www.ctbass.com/pro_shop.htm
